Get Snap Apps on Android.
Android is a direct download today; it is not on Google Play yet. The iPhone app is in active development: this page shows exactly what it will do and how to hear the moment it's ready, rather than a link that doesn't work yet.
This build
Installed the same way any app was installed on Android before app stores existed. You'll see one extra permission prompt the first time, because it is not on Google Play yet.

Installing the APK, step by step
This app doesn't come from the Play Store yet, so Android calls it an app from an "unknown source" — that just means it isn't from a store, not that anything is wrong. Here's exactly what to expect.
Allow installs from this browser
When the download finishes, Android will warn that it blocks installs from unknown sources. Tap Settings on that warning, then turn on "Allow from this source" for your browser. You only do this once.
Open the downloaded file
Find "Snap Apps" in your Downloads or notification shade and tap it. Android will show the permissions the app asks for — camera, for photographing receipts — then tap Install.
Optional: check the file is exactly what we built
If your file manager can show a file's SHA-256, compare it to the checksum on this page before installing. They should match exactly. If you don't know how to do this, it's fine to skip — most people do.

What's new
- You can now sign in or create an account with YourTal, and link YourTal so receipts scanned with bought credits earn points.
- Each scan uses one credit, free ones first, and a scan we cannot read gives its credit back.
- Amounts now show in your workspace’s own currency, so an Indonesian workspace reads in Rupiah (Rp).
- Credit prices stay in Australian dollars, because that is what Snap Apps charges.
- You can now reset a forgotten password by email, and a new account confirms its email address.
- Sessions now expire, so after a long time away you may be asked to sign in again, and Settings can sign you out on every device at once.
- Help now shows your version and build, so a problem report says which one you have.
- Snap Apps has a new look: a bar along the bottom of every screen with Scan raised in the middle, white cards and a new typeface.
- A photo you take with no signal is kept on your phone and sent when you are back online.
- Settings now shows your version and build, and the update card tells you what is new.
- Screens that are not finished yet, such as the wallet, alerts and rewards, are hidden for now.
